OUR HISTORY
Owner - Lukejohn Dickson
Savannah Kitchen & Bath began as a design build firm called DC4 Design. DC4 Design focused on quality historic renovations and property development. Recognized by the Historic Savannah Foundation for excellence in building renovation, SKB then set its sites on expanding the business. By offering design services to the public along with a limited collection of unique products, the business grew offering more products and services to its clients.
Savannah Kitchen & Bath was born out of a passion for design and innovative products. Serving Savannah & the Lowcountry since 2004, Savannah Kitchen & Bath now focuses exclusively on kitchen and bath design and products. The current location houses our design offices, showroom, and shop. The 3,000 square foot showroom features beautiful custom kitchens by Bentwood Luxury Kitchens as well as custom vanities and closet systems. Also on display are the newest high performance appliances from Miele, Fisher & Paykel, DCS, Kitchen Aid, and many more. The latest addition to the SKB family is Harmoni Kitchen, world-renowned for European style and the award winning designs.
As SKB has grown, so have its clients. We recognize that clients are different and so are their needs. For some, a project begins so that a home can become a personal sanctuary or an escape. For others, their property is an investment and should be designed with end users in mind. Others simply want to upgrade. No matter the job, we support a strong team of in-house designers, project managers, lead carpenters and installers, dedicated to excellence. The SKB team transforms the construction and remodeling process into a rewarding experience. We believe that the process of creating your dream kitchen or bath should be fun!
From his training at The Rhode Island School of Design, designer Lukejohn Dickson leads the SKB team with his progressive business and design experience. He was awarded “The Rachel Carson Environmental Award” for his contributions and work in 'Green Design'. He was recognized by his business peers as one of Savannah's "40 under 40 Business Leaders." The Historic Savannah Foundation recognized DC4 Design and Lukejohn for projects completed as part of the Lincoln Street Initiative. Dickson has a passion for details. From salvaging architectural elements to sourcing just the right hardware no design element is too small. Dickson seeks to provide his clients with exceptional products. He travels extensively throughout the US and abroad to find the best in the kitchen and bath industry.
